The Langley Hospice Society is committed to providing emotional, practical and spiritual support for people who are living with a terminal illness, their family and friends, throughout the last stages of illness, at the time of death and bereavement.
Due to Covid-19 the Langley Hospice Society has lost a substantial amount of its major sources of income and are also facing a need to invest in updated computers and technology. On top of all this, a mama racoon has caused enough damage to need a new roof for the Supportive Program Centre, known as "Hospice House".
Funds raised will go towards helping the staff and volunteers access additional technology tools and devices for the delivery of quality, client-centered and responsive palliative and bereavement support programming both in person, and remotely, as necessary; and to help fund the replacement of theri roof to ensure that they can continue to operate from the Supportive Program Centre and provide the much needed support and services for the children, teens, adults and families they serve.
